Web Developer – Shopify Specialist (Freelance or Agency Partner)

Role Overview:

Haute Inhabit is seeking experienced Shopify developers and small agencies to join our creative roster. This role focuses on building and refining elevated, design-forward e-commerce websites that align with our studio’s creative direction. You’ll translate brand decks and layouts into pixel-perfect Shopify builds that merge function, elegance, and speed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify storefronts from provided design files (Figma, XD, or Illustrator)

• Implement custom sections, apps, and theme modifications while maintaining brand consistency

• Optimize for responsiveness, load speed, and SEO best practices

• Troubleshoot and maintain clean, organized code across projects

• Collaborate directly with our creative team to uphold visual precision and UX integrity

Requirements:

• Deep proficiency in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience developing within Shopify 2.0 and custom themes

• Strong understanding of responsive and accessible design

• Meticulous attention to detail; every pixel, margin, and motion matters

• Ability to communicate clearly and deliver quick, reliable turnarounds
